What Are Cheers?
Cheers are a simple way of supporting a person. You can cheer goals, entries, comments and photos. You have a handful of cheers to use each day. Use them wisely and help support the people you admire most on 43 Things.
How Many Cheers Do I Have Today?
Go to your profile page and look in the right-hand column. You’ll see a Cheers widget which includes your daily “cheers available” count. It may look something like Cheers available: 3. The cheers will be limited and the number of daily cheers will likely vary over time.
If you do not see the Cheers widget in the right column, click the “customize” link at the top of the right column and add the Cheers widget to your profile page.
Give Cheers
Click on the Cheer this … link to show your support. The person you cheer will be able to see that you’ve cheered them. You’ll also see that the cheer count has increased by one along with a message telling you how many cheers you have remaining for the day.
Get Cheers
The Cheers widget is located in the right column of your profile page and displays your most recent cheers. You’ll see who has cheered you and how long ago they cheered you. Woot! Click the “see all” link and see a full list of all your cheers given and received.
If you do not see the Cheers widget in the right column, click the “customize” link at the top of the right column and add the Cheers widget to your profile page.
SuperCheers
SuperCheers are an optional way of supporting 43 Things while you support each other. Your first SuperCheer is free (we do ask for your credit card information for future SuperCheers) and every SuperCheer after that is $1. You can upgrade to a SuperCheer after you cheer anything on the site. It’s fun but totally optional. When you SuperCheer you both get SuperCheer status for more than 24 hours and the SuperCheer is permanently reflected on both your cheers pages.
