I just came out to my mom. It was rough. She literally says ‘I DON’T WANT TO TALK ABOUT IT’ with this fearful look in her eye. Then she told me I need to stop hanging out with my friends (some of whom are gay). I don’t want to make her mad. I’m only here in my hometown for the summer, 2 more months. She told me how she wants me to have a family and get married and how sad she would be if i never did.
My uncle thankfully, was very good about it.
