I don’t know if I’ll ever get there but I’m still working on it. This Summer I will have to set some major goals for myself. Perhaps going to at least a few deaf events a week. Re-reading my ASL Green-Book , Deaf Culture text, Linguistics, and Reading between the signs. I’m gonna go make myself a summer to do list! lol hopefully I’ll be motivated enough to keep studying this summer.

I would like to comment in actual sign… but alas, I can’t out a video of my hands in this here comment box… and I’m an Australian, and Auslan (Australian sign language) and ASL are very different.

So- please translate this comment for yourself- “great work”!

Definately go to some events if you can- sign (like any language) is easier to learn if you actually use it!
