It was a dream-house … 107 year old Victorian farmhouse with acreage - lots of moldings, woodwork, hardwood flooring, six mantles, large staircase - great old house.
We lived there for one year, did a lot of renovations, and had the opportunity to move back closer to home (9 hours south). Sold the house/property for a large profit, and moved south.
We’ll do it again sometime in the future, I’m sure.
I want an old Victorian with a turret and a wrap around porch. Not many are to be found in Oklahoma though. :( My husband and I want to move to the northeast just to have the opportunity. I admire you. Not only to have started it but you got to finish it. Nothing compares to the feeling of saying “I did that!” Thank you for saving a beautiful old house!!
