My stretch to find my heritage started in an odd point. I was listening to the Cocteau Twins, wondering what she was singing and in what language and I willy-nilly decided that it must be Gaelic. I wasn’t aware at the time as most weren’t that she was just singing somewhat gibberish English, but it started me down the road to finding out more about Gaelic, Irish Gaelic and the Irish side of my family, the O’Cearnaighs. Its odd what triggers these things in life.
