Stargazing is, in my opinion, one of the most magical things to do. this year i got two chances to do so: 1 in southwestern Utah with some friends from university. i saw the Orion Nebula.

the other was probably coolest and most moving. i was in the middle of lake Shasta. me and my 7 year old cousin sat on the top of a house boat for about an hour and half. she asked about the stars and told her all i could remember. it was very moving. later that night the other folks on the boat came up and we all (10 of us) sat there making up constellations and just enjoying the view.
