Hello to my 43 Things Friends!

We got back yesterday Late! I was up over 24 hours straight.

WOW, so much beauty, great wine, The Pope and much much more.

I could write a entry a day for a long long time, and I will try to share most of what we saw and we experienced!

One week to GO 7 months ago

All that is left is the packing and the trip to the Atlanta Airport, and then off to Paris and Florance to begin our one in our life time journey to Italy.

I think it is ironic that the Pope comes to the US the week before we travel to see him at the Vatican.

Travel Group dinner (50 Days to departure) 9 months ago

Friday evening we had a Travel Group dinner. We have a great group mostly from our church. In fact he studied Cannon Law in Rome for 2 years in Rome. If fact in his study, he has a photo of himself and a young healthy Pope John Paul II.

My DW and myself are looking forward to this honeymoon trip.

Finally we have 2 great travel books, DK Eyewitness Italy and Rome. I recommend this DK Eyewitness series to all, they are very informative with lots of color photos, charts and recommendations of what to see and purchase.

New U.S. Passports in hand 9 months ago

We received our passports yesterday. This Friday we will be meeting at the home of two of of our fellow travelers for potluck dinner, to begin getting psyched for our April 20th departure.
