I love keeping a journal. I just need to be sure that it does not take over my life. I’ve been tracking the amount of time I spend at it, along with everything else that I do. I want to do it though. Reading the entries seems to really help me.

In addition to keeping a current journal I spend time almost every day reading my old journals. I have had a goal for almost ten years that I have dreamed about and believed in. When I lose sight of that goal I become depressed. When I resume my belief I can get myself going again. By reading my journal I have noticed the pattern and now I’m spending less time getting discouraged about my goal and more time believing in it. I have learned about the power of the law of attraction and that seems to be operative for me. My journal has been wonderful about giving me the perspective I need on everything. It has actually given me the key to happiness because I am becoming happier and happier. The goal is very private so I keep my journals in a locked suitcase and lock them back up again after reading them.
My journal is what keeps me going on all of my long range goals. Without my journal I would have given up on my dreams long ago. Either that or they would change so fast I would have no hope of having them realized. Hopes and dreams belong in journals. I love the Law of Attraction. Now that I’ve read the book and understand the Law of Attraction better, I can use my journal to help me actualize the good things that I want. 43 Things is a journal also. It helps me focus on the things I want to do.
I’ve written in my journal every day since March 18, 2007. I want to start putting pictures in my journal.
I’m writing in my journal more than I have for awhile. Maybe I’m spending too much time at it. It’s nice to take the time to express myself. My journal has kept me on track with a lot of goals. I plan to keep writing in it.
I’m back to keeping my journal more regularly. I’ve been keeping an Infobase journal so I can search everything. I like my written journals also, but it’s harder to locate things.
My electronic journal allows me to make long lists that may take a number of days to complete. I could not do this with a written journal.
