Thanks for asking but that just isn't going to work for me 1 year ago

I’ve been sharing the idea that instead of saying No – say Thanks for asking, but that just isn’t going to work for me and I’m getting a great response and take up rate. I’m finding it so much easier to say No, just by changing the way I phrase it.

What part of NO don't you understand? 1 year ago

It seems that my efforts to say no are like bashing my head against a brick wall. I say not me – not my job – try xyz and still the task lands back on my desk. The fact that no one else will do it means that no matter how much I say no I still seem to end up with it!

For far to long I have been the nobody in the story of Anybody, somebody and nobody. That is nobody did it!! In order to avoid mental anguish and stress I’m learning to say no.
