Welcome home... 2 years ago

Well – we did it. We sold half of our old home to my Mom, and bought a new home in Nashville. We signed all of the paper work yesterday, and move in on Friday (possibly Thursday). The house is huge compared to our old home.

Well, we sold hal our home to my parents, as an investment. I’m using that money to put down on a new home, in Nashville… Mt. Juliet actually. We leave for Tn., tomorrow morning. I hope everything goes well.

Looks like we are moving.
Finance is in progress, all looks fine… got the good faith estimate in the mail today. 6.3%, not too bad considering all.

I looked at homes in Nashville, TN., when we were there… There are some really nice homes there… who’da thunk it? So if we can sell our house here – we may buy a house there.

I’ve changed my mind… for now. Our house is ok, and I could use the money to invest elsewhere. besides – our taxes are relatively low ($3000 a year).
