It’s not about what goals you have,
or how much time you spend on the site,
or even if you accomplish your stated goals at all.
It’s about garnering inspiration, new ideas,
connecting with people you might not have connected with before;
in essence,
it’s about what you do off the screen that really counts.
And I believe 43things did the right thing in disabling entries on the self-harm goals like “commit suicide” and “get anorexia,” due to the nature of the people’s minds with said goals.
