see the whole world, up close.

This was my first visit ever to South Carolina. We spent a day and a half exploring the fort, the ships at patriot point, and the historic downtown with all the beautiful houses.

Italy was fantastic. We did not get to include all of the country, much less Greece. There is sooo much!! we did everything from Bologna/Florence/Pisa south, including Sicilia and Sardenia. We had a great time. Just wow! sooo much. Of course, completely worth doing. I will have to go back for venice, milan, and all the rest.

I feel like I’ve seen the panhandle now. We visited several state parks: Henderson Beach, St. Anderews, Rocky Bayou, and T.H. Stone. We had a great time and saw a lot of wildlife. Wild Alligators, an anole, osprey, deer, dolphins, hermit crabs, fiddler crabs, and dead jelly fish.

Headed south over a 4 day memorial weekend. I think we are going to head to Pensecola, and wander east from there. No details. Just whatever.

I got pretty upclose with atlanta a little while back, and I have to say, it’s an incredibly friendly, safe feeling city for its size.

Now, it’s been decided, I will not be going to Australia this year, but in 08 or 09, whenever I get my 3 weeks vacation. this year it will be Italy and Greece, and I’m working on planning the Italy portion right now, and trying to decide on when to go. somewhere between may – sept, excluding august…

I’m still the only person on 43 who wants to do this. I suppose others like to keep their distance.

I feel like I’ve done a lot. most of it has been inside the U.S., but that will change starting next year. I’ve been to california, new mexico, colorado, utah, idaho, wyoming, montana, north carolina, pennsylvannia, west viginia, and of course, my home state of tn. I’ve spent two weeks in germany, and an hour in alberta. I’m going to start planning now for a trip to australia late next year, and planned for 2008: italy and greece. beyond that, I’m not sure. african something is pretty high on my list. we’ll see when the time comes.

This is something I have wanted since childhood, and now that I’m officially an adult, I’m finally begining to work on that dream. This is a goal that will take me years to officially complete, I wonder if this site will last long enough for me to click the “I’ve done this” button?
