finish reading those classic books

I’ve reached the end of the section I was reading, and there are only about 35 pages left. the next time I pick up this book I will be finishing it. But for now I am switching to another one of these books on the list: Ulysses.

I’ve reached the end of the section of Emile, so I put it down and picked up Confessions of St. Augustin. I still have about 80 pages to read to finish this book. I’d like to get halfway there before moving on the the next book.

I picked up emile, and am working on reading another section of it. We are now learning about Emile’s pre-puberty education.

now I’m going to focus on other things for a while. So the priority of this is going to decrease

I finally got to a good stopping point in Ulysses (they are few and far between) now I just need to finish the current chapter of second sex, and the section of Emile

I’ve been working on this, but other things on my at home paper list of things to do are suffering. when I get to a good stopping point, I’m putting this up until they come back up on the list again. Hopefully, that will be before christmas.

I would like to have this finished by the end of this year. or at least to have finished off some of the books by then. Darwin and Second Sex may take longer.

this consists of several books which were all started in a “Great Books” course. and they are all good (except Ulysses) but they are all slow reads, so I read a section of each at a time. So, I’m on an iteration of reading them some right now. the books are: the origin of species, second sex, st augustine’s confessions, ulysses, emile, new organon.
