Share quality time with my son

Perfect Spring day, very enjoyable to share it with my son on the golf course. And it was a special round of golf, one which we will both remember for a very long time.

Another very enjoyable day yesterday. After we shared a game of golf, he was too good for me on the chess board. He then reminded me that he had beaten me several games in a row, which actually made me smile because it reflected the competitiveness that we have in common.

Thoroughly enjoyed a round of golf with my son today. And, he actually congratulated me on playing well! That was a nice change :)

Had a good time at the footy (Aussie Rules) in Sydney last night although it’s fair to say that I enjoyed it more than my son because my team won!

Tomorrow we’re off to watch the Aussies in day three of their quest to make it a clean sweep against the Poms.

Spent most of this weekend watching him play cricket and he did well. Yesterday was a special day for him and I’m glad I gave up my usual game of golf to watch him play.

We both love sport so it’s a natural way of sharing time together. And, although he’s now much better than me on the cricket field and has been able to thrash me at tennis for many years, we can still enjoy a competitive game of golf. And then there is the table tennis table…

The times we share playing or discussing sport are special.
