Books? or about self. 3 months ago

Sometimes it’s not book smarts that you learn. You learn about what makes you tick. Good, and bad behaviors that define you, and your relationships with others. It can be hard to learn the ways in which you fail.
Learning to notice when you do those things, can make you a better person.

Learn to try.

how much is too much 2 years ago

Salt in your soup. Boo.
I’m bummed. I was making a white bean and sausage soup. Something simple, something hearty. Something way too salty. The reason? I salted the broth, the stock, and forgot I salted the water for the beans… then I used that water for the soup. Disappointed.
I could save it by making more and leaving it unsalted.
We’ll see.

How easy it is to make sushi 2 years ago

A friends ex showed us how. We made some veggie sushi a few months ago. It was awesome. So good, so easy, and one might even say affordable.

Programming in php and mysql 2 years ago

I’m a hack not a developer. However, I was able to spin up my skills and learn enough to be dangerous moding someone else’s code. I was able to write a query that did what I want, and insert statement etc. I love the challenge… I need to do it more.
