Learn to play the guitar

I just got Pearl Jam’s song. That song oh where oh where can my baby be, the lord took her away from me..

And I sang along with it. I’m getting better!! I have a PR assignment due in a few hours and I’m playing guitar!

And I was listening to Elbow , so I started to play along. I got Red and Forget Myself in about half an hour just by playing with the songs. Granted , its a bit rusty but just by a bit. I feel quite good about it..

I know that Im not going to be the next “Santana” or at least expect to be any where near expert level in the short months that I have had it. But I went from knowing nothing, to learning the basic chords and strumming. Id say this goal is done !!!!!!

Just fiddling around with choards. Im not sure what they are but they sound great. It gives that feeling that send shivers through me body which usually mean Im really enjoying what Im hearing. I played for about a solid 45mins before the phone rang . But it felt nice.

I just found the song and played it . Granted it needs perfecting but I got it ! Its just 4 chords!!! I got the stumming part perfected though…....

I still got issues with that , but it will go away with more practice. I think Im destinted to play this intrument cause 2 days ago I was thinking of this riff from this song called ‘The Rules of the Game” by the Brazilion Girls. And I started fiddling with the guitar and I learnt it from memory in a matter of 10 mins.

But the chords are clearer and Im feeeling more comfortable and confident while playing. Im still trying to master “Wonderwall” whcih is hell on the 3rd and 4th fingers, and “Redemption Song” which Im really getting better at. “The Grace” by The Never Ending White Lights featuring Dallas Green, but the note of F#m, I cant get it ring properly nor can I slide my fingers fast enough to get the rythem. All in all, it’s going well

I was so happy!!! i didnt realize how easy it was . It took a few hours but I got it ! My fingers hurt like a bitch but i welcome this pain ! the pain of accomplisment!
