this is a good news/bad news sorta scenario. the bad news is that i haven’t picked up my dad’s vest in a while, even though i am close to being done. i also started a new sweater for myself.

the good news is that instead of going out and spending over $100 on new yarn to make the new sweater, i went through my stash and found that i had some yarn already that would work. all i did was buy four more balls of a less expensive brand in colours that complement what i have already. i spent $25 instead of $125.

I’m wearing the socks I just finished last night today!
Now I have to tackle Dad’s vest.

I finished one pair of silk sleeves. I might wear them this weekend!

I screwed up and had to pull back 5 inches of knitting!!! A major, major setback. The wool is very fine and it takes ages to knit even one inch. Sigh.
