start a garden

New pots! Patio garden reorganisation. (:

Have no dirt nor a pot to put this fella in, so they’re slumming in a vase at the moment. Every now and then, a bit of sun – not sure if that’s good for it, but the tree it came from is in full, direct sunlight, so I figure it’ll be ok. Did install the flower boxes but have no flowers (yet) to put in them. Patio’s looking like a right jungle, don’t care what the neighbs have to say. Do care how thirsty the other plants are getting …hm, so what about that DIY drip system on MAKE mag. We’ll see if it’s feasible.

The last time I tried this was 5 years ago. Don’t know what these guys are, can’t remember if they’ll all flower or not, but just getting them out to the patio is one step closer to a happier, greener summer.
