Breathing is still bad.. 2 years ago

But I am continuing to float better.. I think this is one of those goals that’s going to last for years since I’m a real slow learner when it comes to swimming

I still don’t kick well, but I am floating better; I don’t sink right to the bottom straight away – so I must be doing something right.. ha ha

Will practice breathing next week



So many problems to tackle 2 years ago

1. I don’t practice enough
2. I dont kick straight
3. I can’t breath properly
4. I CAN’T FLOAT

due to shoulder/neck injuries – I don’t know how that came about – it could be stress related!

On the upside I found a great tidal pool near my place where I can pratice floating/drowning (yes I’m that bad) in private

When I breathe my strokes go wrong; I think I just need more practice!!

Got another set of wheels, been back to the pool once.. I’m seriously unfit these days after 4 weeks of sedentary living, not to mention I’ve forgotten everything I learned about breathing.. getting back into it!

I hate it. My upper body work is fine – apparently my freestyle strokes are perfect, but my legs and my middle body need more work.. dammit
