Keep in Better Contact With the Friends I Have and Make New Friends

Meeting new people is easy; making new friends is hard

Granted, I met some new people this year, but I have also wisened up this year too – not everybody can be a friend. I should change this goal to ‘meet new acquaintances”

I’ve been told it would take a few years to work out if someone is trust worthy, and if that were true then it would take at least that long to ‘make a friend’. (This assumes of course that a friend can be trusted, unless those of you out there have ‘friends’ you do not trust – I don’t call those people friends)

I think friendship is a mutual thing; I got tired of constantly having to initiate contact with one particular person so I struck said person off my ‘friend’ list ..

Organised a couple of drinks and get togethers. Involved some new people – introduced disparate groups together. This is a lot of work considering I haven’t enough time for myself as it is, but it’s a goal nevertheless

Not so much in the better contact front considering I had to drop some as they have been deemed toxic..
