Generally, I have looked to the people I supervise to be the people I work to inspire. Well, I think I need to branch out in my land of inspiration because it is not enough!

Sometimes the little things are the most inspiring. Like having someone trust you enought to tell you their secrets. That always really inspires me to not let them down.
So, recently I have been reading the most influential speeches ever given. I highly suggest reading FDR’s inaugrural speech if you need a little motivation in your life. This guy was taking on the US Presidency while we were still in the great depression and he had this plan to get us out. It is a great speech. I love it!
Currently, I am reading “How to Win Friends and Influence Others” by Dale Carnegie and that book inspires me—even though it was written about 70 years ago. I try to put myself in situations where I am going to be inspired and I am open to being inspired in almost any setting. I want to continue to do this, even when I get really busy. I think that it is an important part of my sanity.
