Publish a novel

Wow, I haven’t been to this site in too long.

I completed the Third Draft, the Synopsis, and sent my book proposal to my first publisher yesterday. I don’t know if my novel will get published on its first try but I can definitely say that it feels good just to have finished a project.

I completed the second draft of my novel before the end of March as I planned. Now, before the end of April, my goal is to do a full read-through and make any cosmetic or minor changes/improvements before submitting to a publisher.

I even have the first publisher picked out to submit to.

I am currently trying to wrap up my second draft of my first novel. It is a fantasy novel with a plot about a lot of the same things other fantasy novels are about. I hope that the intricacies of the characters and the controversy created by the prevalent religions of the world will keep readers interested. My first draft goal was to get to 50,000 words and as of today I am just over 68,000. When I am done I will probably be around 73,000 or so and ready to submit to a publisher. I’m pretty excited.
