Fulbright exchanges...  — 3 years ago

Since I’m a teacher now, I might as well consider something like this. A Fulbright exchange will allow me to get paid while traveling, so this won’t be the massive financial shock it could be.

If I did this, I’m leaning towards Scandinavia or Central/Eastern Europe. (Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland, Hungary, Latvia, Norway, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Turkey.)

...but I’d like to find out about another culture. You can’t do this as a tourist, and I see “one month” as about a good dividing line between tourist and resident.

We’ll see if this one ever happens — this might be best put off until retirement.
