live in a foreign country

Am currently in Kochi, India right now. The first 2 days that I was here was pretty hard, but then was able to pick myself up. Regardless of being warned, it’s still a shock to come to India. Feeling homesick, lonely, sweaty, tired…it only lasted a few days. Now I am enjoying the friendly people, the beautiful scenery, the different culture. Am so glad that I was fortunate enough to travel abroad

ok, so I’m only going to “live” in a foreign country for 90 days, but hey 90 days will be a taste of living in a foreign country. I’ll be going to India on a short term assignment for my employer. Who knows what it will lead to??

I work for an international company and have seen postings for short term and long term assignments in foreign countries. I told the manager that I would like to go and she said she will support my decision to go on a 3 month rotation :)
However she said it would have to wait an additional 6 months or so since we are very busy at work and we will need to find someone to fill my current position.
