48. Use my nail polish 4 months ago

I got my nails done. Well, that lasted about half a week. Which meant I had to redo it. Oy! It was so much harder than I remembered it being. Still, it means that my polish is no longer just sitting in a drawer. (I’ve also sold about half of it.)

49 - eat fresh corn 1 year ago

I picked up some corn at the farmers’ market when I was in PA. We had it the next day and it was perfect. I love corn season.

44 - see a wedding I've planned come together 1 year ago

Well, it was a sucess at the end of the day and we got paid for it, but it was chaotic.

The best man text messaged that he wasn’t coming the day before the wedding with no explination.

The sub best-man was late.

The venue was stormed out and we had to have the wedding inside instead of at the beach.

The flower girl disappeared. We were inches away from calling 911 when her grandmother found her sulking in the closet. If I’d had my way she wouldn’t have been sitting at the reception.

Then, after the ceremony, while folks were at the reception, the ENTIRE WEDDING PARTY disappeared for 1/2 hour.

Still, at the end of the day, the food was excellent, the DJ was top-notch, and the photographer was incredible. The ceremony was lovely and we had a lot of people tell us that it was the best wedding they’d ever been to.

I’m calling it a good learning experience and a sucess. (Especially once the check clears.)

28. Take B&W photos 1 year ago

Took some gorgeous black and whites in Hawaii. I’ve even gotten them developed. Now I have to figure out what to do with them.

29. Play on a playground. 1 year ago

When my best friend came down from NYC, we went and hung out at the park and played on the playground. It was completely abandoned because it was the middle of winter, but it was a lot of fun. I remember slides and things being a lot bigger when I was a kid. I still have no monkey-bar strength.

24. Bake more breads and try new recipies for them. 1 year ago

Made Irish soda bread for the first time this week.

I also made Challa (first time as a loaf as opposed to a roll) and French Bread.

58. Finish exercise goals to get my rewards Walk 1 more hour and I’ll get a new pair of shoes!

59. Re-read old stories I’ve written to see if they’re salvagable – They usually aren’t as bad as I think they are. They just need a little love.

60. Fill up my piggy bank until it’s almost impossible to move it – I have a Winnie the Pooh bank that sitting on the bottom shelf of my bookcase. I need to move it up and feed it instead of the little blue tin that’s sitting on my dresser. It’ll be much more satisfying when I open it up later. Right now, just opening the tin I can see all the coins. There’s no surprise in it.
