How I did it: I made a concrete list and kit for survival in the event of an earthquake or other disaster. I talked to my children about such an event. I made tangible preparations for such an event. Read how I did it…
1. Glimmers of hope?
2. Chatting online
3. Sophie’s letter to Santa. She wanted to know how old he is
1. I got an 87% on the kanji section of a practice test. I needed that confidence boost
2. Yukari came for coffee and we talked about the Thanksgiving party. Before she’d even gotten all the way in the door, she had already thanked me again and commented that it was the best party of her life. “I’m sure.” You’re sure? Kind of hard to live up to and a little sad but nice to hear since I felt it was a pretty great party, too
3. Using leftovers: cheese, turkey and peas in turkey tetrazzini
I took the third section of the 2004 test. This is the kanji and vocabulary test. I got an 87% and finished with 4 minutes to spare. This means I technically passed the 2004 practice test with a 63%. Barely passed. But I really needed this, needed to do well on at least one part of this test to boost my confidence again.
5 more days until the test!
