I took 4 years of french and forgot almost all of it when i went to college, but now i’m living in Paris for the semester and boy have i improved. In my opinion, the only way to improve your french is to speak it every day. Unfortunately, that usually means being in a french-speaking country. I live in a homestay, and the lady i live w/ doesn’t speak english at all so i’m forced to speak french with her. As a result, i have become so much better at speaking than my friends w/ english-speaking homestays. I’m not fluent yet, but i can understand almost everything on a daily basis. I can’t watch french TV or read the newspaper, but its nice to know that i’m at least capable of speaking and understanding a language other than english. Definitely worth doing.

I have always wanted to go here, mainly because i LOOOVE Morroccan food. Also the culture and architecture is so beautiful and unlike anything i’ve yet to see in my travels. Its a pricey trip tho, so we’ll see.

I may be jewish, but considering the Bible is so prevalent in all aspects of society, be it law, politics, or art, i feel its necessary to understand the Bible, at least more than i do now.
