Had a friend who was one many, many mango seasons ago.. Last I had heard, rabies shots have been rumored to be an absolute must-do.. Owwwwie.. ;))

Spot is out front and is not ideal, but the wildlife in my yard and I seem to have no problem coexisting seriously side by side.. :))

Something was on my roof making the worst awful sad sound I’d ever heard.. Being at night and as high pitched as it was, could only imagine a wayward young bat on the rooftop begging the parent to return.. Hmm.. Next step needs to be…....

Locate someone who rehabs..

Or become one myself.. Something else I’ve always wanted to do.. :grin:

The [attendant] said too much iron showed up the same way anemia does in that little “float” test they do when you’re giving.. A quick run through their centrifuge test at that time told them it was too much iron rather than not enough..

At the local Community Thrift Store, no less.. Complete with that “lived in” look already going on.. Cannot believe anyone would ever give something like that away, but am I ever grateful to whomever did..! :grin:

Sooner or later, the parts (and replacement rebuild kit) will inevitably bubble to the top once again..

With brake pads and rotors along with the starter needing to be taken care of on another (non-Stude) vehicle, am counting on those turning into a dry run for this one.. :grin:

Oh, and he drives, what else, a great big pickup truck with antlers for his hood ornament.. :giggle:

JUST NOW got word that 120 of my national advocate friends with ADAPT (American Disabled for Attendant Programs Today) were arrested at the House Rayburn Office Building on Capitol Hill some time today..

Here’s hoping that the transport and jail are/were fully accessible and that all were treated with the same human dignity those arresting them would wish upon themselves..

Got talking to a gentleman from North Carolina at last week’s quarterly NCD meeting.. He knew what psychiatric service dogs (PSDs) were along with already being well-versed in the obstacles they face in acceptance.. Very cool.. :)

Just have to make sure you drive defensively as people tend to “drift” in your direction constantly while they’re checking it out.. Makes driving exciting (as if it weren’t enough already).. :)

‘Long as she doesn’t rust away before this particular Thing is checked off the list.. :))
