I had a feeling when I set off that today (week three, day two) was going to be a struggle. I pushed a little too hard on the third interval: when the fourth started, I actually said “oh no!” aloud and got a peculiar stare from someone walking in the other direction!
Apologies to Bob: the “one minute to go” comment in the last interval of the podcast actually spurred me on today. Cheers!

Week three, day one: a fortnight makes such a difference! After a disgustingly unhealthy weekend (too much sugar & not enough exercise) I didn’t know how this was going to go, but it was fine; roll on day two!
(Robert Ullrey is back to his old tricks, however: the “you have only one more minute to go” comment in the final three minute interval was very cruel; I thought I was finished when he started to speak!)

I took this picture six months ago on a moody day in Ayr. Today the sky was clear blue, the sun was bright and a light breeze kept the temperature in my comfort zone.
I took loads of pictures…and they were all dire! I need to start carrying my camera rather than rely on my iPhone (can’t see the screen in bright sunlight).
Best was stepping out of my car and taking a lungful of “sea air” (salt & sea weed!): no camera can capture that!
