for two hours versus one and have a carfull of stuff to donate as well. Stopping was too painful. Every time I did I would stop and think about Rocky and cry again. Of all the dogs I have had he was the most tactile. Always close by and always pressed up against you somehow. A little shadow around the house, following you from room to room. There’s nothing that doesn’t include a memory but that is why it is good to clean up, create space for something new. I will never forget.

How I did it: I became much more conscious about the food I ate, which resulted in eating far less meat or only eating meat that I knew had been compassionately slaughtered. Read how I did it…
How I did it: Slowly and painfully. This is truly one of those things that should be tackled a day at a time. It is also surprisingly painful since it brings up old memories and forgotten moments. However, it is completely necessary to move forward. For me, this time of year is especially meaningful and working with the cycles of nature also helped. It is a time to let go. Read how I did it…
Both of us agree that this house isn’t really suited to us. It was “good enough” especially for the timeframe that I had to find a new place to live and came with a fenced in yard for the dogs. We still need a fenced in yard but how I long for my own fully equipped bathroom again! I miss my very own bath tub….
Also, now that we have been in Colorado for almost 7 months, we have a better idea of the areas in which we want to live. We both like Arvada a lot. Also, we want a place with only one level and perhaps a basement level tv room and a gas stove in a well lit sunny kitchen. The list goes on!
is all I have to do. It will be a good distraction. The house is so empty and silent seeming now.
