Today I have been sorting out my memory boxes and I’ve found lots of birthday and Christmas card from my Grannie. What makes them meaningful to me is seeing my Grannie’s writing – from a very young age I always recognised her script on letters. There are elements of her writing in my own.
After her retirement she also began making homemade cards and I’ll really treasure those. My 30th birthday was the first with no card and it really hit me that she’d gone.
I’ll always feel loved when I look over the many cards and letters I have with that warm, familiar cursive script.

In my house reorganising I have accumulated all my photos into one cabinet in my bedroom and gradually they are getting sorted.
I’ve also started going through all my digital photos and organising them. It helps to have a screensaver of all my photos as it serves as a reminder of the goal.
We’ve also just got some professional pics of Emma done so I need to get some new frames and have a reshuffle to give each child equal wall space!

1. Sorting though piles of old stuff. So many memories.
2. Realising I started active self-development 10 years ago age 20.
3. A productive therapy session overcoming some barriers.
4. The shoes the dog ate were worn out and uncomfortable anyway.
5. Got loads done in the house but still had time for Heroes!
Pic is me (on the right) on my 20th birthday!
