...were actually very good, and this was mostly thanks to me because I did not sabotage my health, I ate properly, I exercised at the pool, and in the evening, instead of stressing, I relaxed as I deserved.
What a relief to discover I’m actually capable of leading a balanced and meaningful life.

How I did it: Time is very important. The body and the mind need some time to adjust to changes, especially if these involve stressful events like the end of a relationship or stuff like that. So basically you just have to wait for your elan vital to come back.I also had online support from friends (some of them I know in my real life, some just virtual), so I got a chance to speak, to express my feelings and thoughts.Finally, music. The right music ca… Read how I did it…
How I did it: I started by questioning the message my old pic would convey to others. What eventually made me change it though was the image that *I* felt was closer to my personality. Yet, as I said, that was no big deal :))) Read how I did it…
Went to the dept (there is this very unpleasant feeling I get every time I go there, I’m not sure why: this is something I will have to sort out);
Picked up my blood test results;
Went to the pool (for the 5th time in a row, too bad blue-eyed guy wasn’t there);
Had a healthy dinner;
did not binge in the afternoon;
called my friend MA on the phone;
Relaxed by writing on 43things.
Today, after almost 4 weeks of training at the pool, the extra-cute blue-eyed guy said “hi!” to me (for details on when I first saw him, see my “daily make a what I’ve accomplished list” entries). I’m so happy I’m all smile :)))
It may seem trivial but it is not: in my half-twisted imagination his acknowledging my presence with a greeting opens up the possibility for friendship. He might not find me attractive, but he surely does not dislike me!! And this is good, real good! Silly as it seems this “hi” made my day. I’m happy now, and it had been a while since I last felt happy. So, silly or not, I’ve decided to fully enjoy the feeling – and I am!! :)))
