A few times I’ve read 50 books in a year. My secret? I but about 400 books in advance (usually at yeard sales or flea markets, at 5/dollar) and pick them at random. The mix of fiction/nonfiction plus my favorite authors (Follett, Sheldon, Clavell, King) keeps me going. The current book I’m reading is Sophie’s Choice, and it is EXCELLENT.

So I’m posting this almost seven months after the fact, but:

50. Quidditch Through the Ages by J.K. Rowling

I finished these two at a New Year’s Eve party while I waited for the scotch to kick in.

...and school work kind of killed the goal. oh well.

I must “give up” :)

Well, 2007 is over and I’ve read about 5 books. I’ll try again this year.

’s 4 and 5. but now spring sports start so time is gonna go back to nonexistant. lol

I’m going to technically say I finished my 50 books in 2007 because I am counting children’s books I read for my lit class.

1-3 are gonna be done by like tomorrow.
