I got told about 2 weeks ago that my job of more than 3 years is being made redundant as the role is no longer required by my company. There is going to be a new position in the company and although I have been encouraged to go for it by the Manager I really don’t wish to as it isn’t for me.
I felt a little down and have not gotten round to updating my CV upon hearing the news but I hope to finally do something about it as I have about a month in my current position…

is wondering what her Dad's answer will be...
By the time I had my shizzle together, the job description was taken off the intranet website. Well, at least I’ll be prepared if something else comes up. If. Still haven’t braced myself to tell my boss that I missed the opportunity to get out of her team, as she so badly desires.

I updated my CV I used 3 years ago and translated it into English. I also tailored it to the job I want to go for right now. I still need a cover letter and by this time on Wednesday, I will have applied for the open position in my company I want to change to.

While this is a good thing to do, it’s not really important or exciting to me at the moment so I’m letting it go.

I’v tinkered with the idea, since my current CV is all over the place.
There’s not much organisation and tbh, i could do with lot more.
Should I use a template or should I keep my CV very unique and personal…but organise it more?

Another big thing off the to-do list, all so I can put more on the ‘done that’ list.

Right, after updating my CV what felt like a hundred and one times, I’m now finally in a great job that hopefully I won’t be leaving anytime soon! It was good at what it did, but thank goodness I don’t have to look at it again in the forseeable future – I’m sick of the sight of it! You know when you’ve read the same document over and over and over… and it fails to make sense anymore? Yeah I’d reached that with my CV. Still, success! Woop!
