Last night I watched Notorious with Cary Grant and Ingrid Bergman (also starring Claude Rains). Just so happened to catch it on TCM. Good movie, good story. Highly recommend it!

I watched Destination Tokyo last night. Good movie, and learning a little piece of trivia by reading the back of the DVD. Apparently, this was the only military movie Cary Grant made during the war.
Some of the dialogue seemed to be a bit “informational”... I felt like I was in a very odd classroom setting. However, the overall acting was great, including Alan Hale (later of Gilligan’s Island fame) and John Forsythe, although he does not get poster billing, or even mention on the DVD back cover (very early movie for him).

I watched this movie on Saturday and LOVED it. I highly recommend it. It’s one of the best movies I’ve seen in a very long time, and now one of my new favorites!

I love Cary Grant. So handsome, so suave, and a talented actor. I’ve seen some of his movies, but I’d love to make sure I’ve seen them all.

I realized I only watched like, 4 movies out of the millions he was in…my favorite still being Arsenic and Old Lace. Nevertheless, I will definately have to do this one ! :)

Watched my first one from the list last night: His Girl Friday (1940). I hadn’t seen this one before even though I did buy it some time ago. What a great movie too, very fast paced and filled with the typical Cary Grant style witticisims. Definitely worth watching.
