I’ve lived in Detroit most of my life and the time has come. Thinking Chicago although Manhattan is where my heart is.

I’ve been in London for soooooo long I just don’t want to wake up here anymore ! I’m so tired of the concrete and the mayhem. It is a wonderful city but I am just completely bored of it right now. The world is a big place and I want to see it. If I could go somewhere else tomorrow I would…
mlmclarnon seeing the forest for the trees, at least for today.
job opportunity fell through, and I realize you can’t push a river….
Claudia has finally moved! Looking forward to moving (again!) to Colorado.
So, here in California currently. I can’t wait to move to our permanent home! I’ll be here for almost 4 months and then moving to Colorado Springs, Colorado. :D
Claudia has finally moved! Looking forward to moving (again!) to Colorado.
We finally get to move! My husband got orders for Colorado, so we’ll be there in February. First, we have to be in California for a few months. This is my first time really moving (as in, packing a lot of stuff and having household furniture moved) and it’s such a pain in the butt! :/ Still, I’m excited!
I’ve finally moved to a new city—Victoria! I have a few friends here, but no one super close, so I’m basically on my own. I moved here because I got a good job offer, and decided it was totally worth it to come down. I have my own apartment, and I spent a shitload of money furnishing it with actual stuff instead of just hand-me-down’s. I’ve only been here a week and a half, and my new job starts on Monday, but I’m seeing good things in my future. :)
It was a huge step and very scary, but I’m so happy I did! What made the move easier was moving with my husband and kids!
I have wanted to move to another city for a couple of years now. I have just been too scared to do it. I wish I could find another woman, early 40’s who’s just ready to fly the coop! Someone who still has a sense of adventure that got put on the back burner for babies, husbands, fear and such. I know there are many out there like me who could use the emotional support and help with travel expenses that a companion could offer. I feel like a wuss but I’ve moved alone before and it can be intimidating. If what I’m saying here tugs at some deep place in your spirit I would love to hear from you.
I am currently living with my parents, applying for jobs all over the country with the hopes that I can simply follow a job offer to a new city.
However, in the event that no job offers are made, my goal is to move to a new city in the month of April. That gives me February to wait for any interview calls, and March to complete the one interview I do have set up.
