I have to say this is my favorite food. So spicy and flavorful! It’s also easy to eat with my vegetarian diet.

My new favorite!!!! LOVE IT!
I tried Indian food FINALLY a couple of weekends ago at a wedding (traditional Indian ceremony) and it was AMAZING. Spectacular flavors and a great variety of food. I will definately be checking out some local Indian eateries in the near future.

Not worth it!
but the restaurant I order from really sucked..not only it was way too expensive for such small portions as it was bad, bad food.. what a shame.. =(

Ok, maybe the above is a bit of an overstatement, because I’ll always love me some Macaroni & Cheese. However, after almost 4 months of having my first taste of Indian food, I am still feening for some more. Let’s see…I had Roti, Chicken Curry, Chick Peas, and some other spicy meat that was delicious. My friend who I attend college with is from Trinidad but she’s Indian and so her mother came from Trinidad to visit her and her sister. While she was down here she cooked almost everyday but I only got to try her cooking twice. I think the chicken curry was the best.
The first time she cooked for us I don’t even remember what it was. It was ok, but I really didn’t care for it. It was like a bunch of little trinkets and stuff. Haha, didn’t fill me. They also eat a lot of their food with beer (Heineken in particular) being that the drinking age over in Trinidad is relatively lower. I mean, I was 18 at the time and her mother knew that my roommate and I were underage (according to US standards) and she didn’t care. I was like…woah!! I need to hang around people from Trinidad more often.

my friend took me to an indian restaurant a couple months ago.. and since its been on the top of my list for ethnic food. the tika masala(sp?) is the best! my whole family likes it too which means a lot because they are picky. anyway is you are hesitant, just try it the worst that will happen is you’ll never go back again, but i doubt it.

Chana masala is my favorite food in the whole world, but I never would have tried Indian food if I hadn’t been forced to by my friends because I was always such a picky eater. Ethnic food is fantastic! Don’t knock it ‘til you’ve tried it. :)

Went to an Indian restaurant in Long Beach and I was hesitant at first that it would be too spicy, but we got the ‘medium’ spices and it was delicous!! We had a lamb vindaloo, chicken madras, and tandorri chicken…I can’t wait to have more!

It was pretty good food. The food made me real hot, and it was during a heatwave in Berkely (no airconditiong, and 90+ degrees) so I got really warm, but I still thought the food was good.
