buy a Mac

My main work is computational chemistry using ab initio. Macs talk better to the unix and linux servers I work on. I always had communication errors when I used a PC. When the PC died (and it died a very tough, raman-noodley death), I got a mac. It has been a very good computer. I’ve had it two years this month.

Especially since my PC is still functioning pretty well… and I can’t afford to buy photoshop for Mac!

But its a nice dream, isn’t it?

I just bought my Mac “Marty” a year ago this august. I love him and they’re defiantly way better than pcs!

Alright, it’s official. I’m going to save up for a Mac computer – not sure which type, but I am. I’ll try and get $1650 for a decent one.

I’ll dedicate 25% of my un-needed earnings at the end of each month to my savings account. I’ll get there eventually!

As of yet, I don’t need one. For my master’s degree program they prefer a PC, so that’s what I’m using. Why spend the money on one now, when it’s not necessary. I’ll get one eventually because I really do like them, but it’s going to be later down the road.

Waiting to pay off debts so this will have to wait a little longer, hope to have it bought by September for college. Also waiting to hear that I got back to college as you can gets student discounts.

Pc is dead. Buy a mac ull love it!!

It’s just not that important to me right now and I’d like to make room for goals on my list that are more pertinent.

Their so damn EXPENSIVE
But they are much better that Micro$uck Windoze.
I’m saving up but i need to get a job…

We got one yesterday. A 24 inch i-mac 2.6 ghz. I’m really happy to have it. We went to the Apple Store and spent about an hour with a “personal shopper” who showed us all the in’s and out’s and how interconnected everything is. I’m really looking forward to learning more about using it. I think the large monitor will really help at getting my photography edited properly, as well.
