How I did it: First, we wrote a great little script, with an emphasis on producability - which basically meant minimal props and costumes and cast, and locations. then we shot it in a single day, and it was a doddle to edit! |

Actually is just about a 52 inch screen and it was only a video that i made for my parent’s anniversary party, but it recieved great reviews, and I actually got offers to make videos for some of the other people at the party which is awsome because I can make a little cash to get some new equipment. as you can tell I’m pretty stoked and I’m looking forward to starting my next project.
Karaoke Video

I decided to make a video randomly for a karaoke challenge at a local theatre. I decided to make a music video for Cyndi Lauper’s Time After Time. I found out that making films is a lot more time consuming then I could ever imagine as far as filming, getting people together, editing, etc. I definitely have a better appreciation for those in the business. I would totally consider doing this again although only if I had a lot more time and cha ching to put into it. It was still alot of fun though!

Yup, I decided yesterday that I was going to make a 5 minute short using the resources that I have. Now I just have to come up with a brilliant idea.

I’ve done this a few times, one of them being a stop motion animation. It took me 3 hours to do a 23 second film. I think I was 12 when I did that, but I loved it all the same :D

really fun, made a few, mostly with friends, its a great thing to stash on the shelf and look back to.
i’ll definitely be making more. most of the time i just wing it, make it up as i go. writing a script makes me quickly lose interest because it feels so dry

I’d love to create a short film, probably about zombies. I have other ideas as well, but the zombie movie seems like it would be the most fun. I don’t want to do this for profit, or awards, just for fun.

My actors and I are rehearsing tomorrow. This will be interesting as I’ve chosen each of them for the role without ever seeing either of them perform.
I have faith that this will work out just fine and be a success.

The camcorder refused to be recognized by my computer. I tested it out before taking it to New York City. I couldn’t transfer any of the footage to the computer. I think this it’s just about curtains for this goal.
