I leave for Paris in November (2008). I can’t believe it! It’s been 5 years since I set this goal and now it is only 7 days before I leave for Paris. Wish me luck everybody.
People doing this are also doing these things:
Entries
- live in the city for minimum six months
- do so with my family
- know people and places in the city
- learn enough French to get by
lazylibra is trying hard
to me until i take care of other goals. so ill settle for just visiting.
haven’t been in years. wanted to move there the first time i went as a teen! i’ll see how i feel when i return from my trip later this year. if the old feeling is still there, i’m going to take steps. sure it’s hard. (you have to have permission, a job, a place to live – all the crap the naysayers throw at you) but it’s not impossible. people do it all the time. i’m a people; i can do it too.
I lived in Paris for a month this summer taking an art history class. It was AMAZING!!! I HAVE to find some other way to live there again! It’s the most beautiful city in the entire world, and it sucks that I have 3 more years of college keeping me in Colorado. I’ll live there again someday. I HAVE to.
An opportunity to learn French & live in a beautiful city. Be inspired to paint and draw there.
titinede found a job and is hoping to go on like this and enjoy life the most !
I studied in Paris 3 years , beautiful city but quite expensive and stressy but so interesting, I think every one should try to know if he likes it … :-)
So we just finished vacationing in Europe and Paris was our favorite spot. After visiting, we decided we would like to try living there for a year. Anyone have any suggestions on the best way to go about doing it? Where could we find work, affordable housing, etc.? Please share your thoughts.

I would love to live in Paris. Once my kids are grown, and life happens as it should. I would love to live there. It has been one of my dreams ever since I was like 7.
