I have two small children. It’s just simply an unquestionable task that I be everything to them. I know I can’t be perfect and I know I’ll faulter and I know that I have, but I still think I should certainly strive to be as wonderful as possible in this case. May the goal in itself soften the less-than-perfect moments…

I would love to teach my daughter to be the best person she can be to others and to appreciate all that is given to her. She is going to have an amazing life and I want to teach her to always feel fantastic being who she is.
Thank you

I give up...

... on this goal.
It’s way too diffuse for me, ‘be a good mom’. What’s that??
Besides, is that really what I want to be? A good mom? No! Hell no! I wanna be the best fucking mom I possibly can be!!!
So, I’ll have to quit this, and start another goal. One that’s way more controllable. ‘Was this really the BEST MOM I POSSIBLY could be?’. Much more goal-oriented and measurable… :)
And human, too. It’s not about the best there is ‘out there’, but the best I can do.

and they deserve the best Mom. I love playing with them and doing special things but it seems like there isn’t alot of time between all my house work and errands…I need to MAKE more quality time with them.

I want to create the most loving atmosphere for my 15 month old daughter that I can on my own. As a single mother I would like to make it seem as if nothing is ever missing or lacking in her life.
