Sort my CD collection and sell it

I sold quite a few of them at the garage sale, and gave away the real dogs to a neighbor, who was thrilled to get them. I still have some listed at Amazon, but NEARLY ALL are either already gone, listed at Amazon, or sitting in boxes, graded for price, waiting for the next garage sale. The only remaining ones are a few really rare ones, that I have to do more research on for pricing info, and some boxed sets. So I’d say I’m up to 95%, but that last 5% is going to be the kicker.

I’m having a yard sale tomorrow, so I am getting the ripping and sorting done today if I have to stay up ‘til midnight to do it.

This has been on the back burner for awhile, but today I did a big stack of CDs and am down to the last box at last. That’s about 80 CDs by my rough estimate. This box should go pretty fast, because it’s all the trip-hop, club and electronica. Most of it will end up at the garage sale rather than listed on Amazon.

When I started this, I had 6 cartons of CDs, each with about 80 CDs.

I am only about 20 CDs away from opening the final box.

Meanwhile I’ve listed many on Amazon (don’t know how many exactly) and sold all but about 50 of the ones I’ve listed so far. I have about 150 that are not worth enough to list on Amazon. They will go up for sale when I have my yard sale in September.

I listed 23 of my CDs for sale today on Amazon.

It’s a start!

Well, I’m getting these ready to sell, bit by bit. I’m thinking of starting to list them on Amazon.com. Does anyone know a better Web site for selling CDs?

All my CDs have been weeded and the keepers are in boxes. Phase Two will be a second pass on them to weed some more. This will be a slower job because I’ll do some listening to them too. Then the remaining keepers will be packed into smaller boxes, labeled, and stored in the garage until I move and get a new CD player.

I hope! It all depends on when a guest I’m expecting actually shows up.
