1. Archaeological Site of Volubilis (1997)
2. Historic City of Meknes (1996)
3. Medina of Fez (1981)
4. Medina of Marrakesh (1985)

Boy, 43 things is like learning vocabulary. No sooner do I learn about the World Heritage Sites (from someone else’s 43 Thing list) than I read in my morning paper that our very own Pittsburgh tourist destination (Ok, it’s not IN Pittsburgh, but it’s still OUR tourist destination) is being considered for the list. 1 down before it’s even on the list!
