    I haven’t been focusing on this as of late. I am not sure if I should after learning some information about myself. BUT my house is a mess, I am looking at moving in 3 weeks so I need to get focused.

    OH MY ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh 2 months ago

    I am floating in this weird place at the mo and I am barely connecting with the ‘real’ world (if at all).

    I look around and there is chaos everywhere. Not only just in housework but in my relationships, my finances (although a LOT less than in the past, thanks to my careful investigation of late) and within myself. I KNOW that if I get back to my routines I will start getting back on the right track. I am not sure why I am finding this quite so difficult at the mo. My world is all out of whack and I need to determine why and how this affecting my goal of being a) a flybaby and b) a committed one.

    I haven't been a committed flybaby at all, let alone at 100% 2 months ago

    So time to stop all this self sabotage and time to get moving!

    By the end of today I will have the house tidy. Progress, not perfection. My room will be habitable again, I would have made my bed and I will do a load of washing. I CAN do this and I will do this!

    Ok so I wouldn’t normally advise this. I tend to be an all or nothing person and I go hard nuts then give up for ages but I am bored. I have my birthday party next weekend so I want the house organised for that, so in an effort to inspire myself I am going to do my normal routine as well as a few of the previous jobs that I haven’t gotten around to doing and wasn’t going to. What I don’t finish today I will attempt to do this week and if not bo big deal because I wasn’t going to anyways :)

    Morning Routine
    Get up at 6am It was 8am
    Make my bed ~YES YES YES
    Check calander/diary ~ Yes
    Check To Do list ~ Yes
    Put on load of washing hmmmm bbs

    I am going through and making my goals SMART for me 3 months ago

    Soo be a better flybaby…
    How will I know when this is complete? currently this goal is not SMART, how can I make it so?
    Specific
    Measurable
    Authentic
    Relative
    Time based

    Specific. ‘Better’ is not a specific term.
    How can I make this statement specific?

    Measurable. Once again there is no way of measuring if I was better than before. I need to make this goal measurable.

    Authentic. yes this goal is authentic to me. It helps me with my issues without feeling like a failure and it is helping me to put routines in place to help future me.

    Relative. Yes this goal is VERY relative to my life!

    Time based. No, I have no idea when I can mark this as done…

    Ok so the goal is actually not just to be a ‘better’ flybaby but to be the best flybaby I can be.
    To do this I would be following all my routines, doing all challenges and zone cleaning.

    So the goal really is to be a 100% committed flybaby
    Is that SMART?
    Specific, it is to me. it means that when I am doing all the tasks required that I have achieved this goal.
    Measurable, see above.
    Authentic, yes
    Relative, yes you don’t have to be superwoman to do it all, it is just a matter of learning how to follow a routine.
    Time based, well it is in the fact that when I get to that point it is done. I could set a date but I don’t want to overwhelm myself. if I make a commitment to do my genuine best then that is ok for me :)

    So changing goal from be a better flybaby to a 100% committed flybaby.
