I would like to have lunch with him. I think I’ll invite him to our college. I don’t believe he’ll be able to come, but I want to at least let him know he is welcome.

Hello, I live in British Columbia, Canada.
I’m fourteen year old and a grade 9 student in Gleneagle Secondary School. Tonight, November 4, 2008, the first thing I did after school was watching TV and seeing Mr. Obama winning the presidency. Fortunately, he won and I believe he can change the world!
Since a long time ago, I’ve really wanted to me Mr. Obama…
but I know a fourteen year-old girl in Canada cannot meet a president…
But I really admire him and really want to meet him…is there any way I could meet him?
InkGirl is in love???
Im just going to make a list of the peole i want to meet
He is such a brilliant man and I admire his class and honesty. He wants to help everyone and I think that’s amazing. He says everything I want to hear. I wish there was a way to start a group that would actually make a difference and help him. If anyone is interested, contact me scottd26@gmail.com.

We happened to be leaving Chicago on a Sunday afternoon. I heard on the radio Saturday night that’d he’d be signing his book at a church Sunday morning. I had just finished reading the book, and figured we go over there on the off chance that we might get an autograph. Sure enough, we got the autograph and a picture. Way cool.
I’ve met the man on three separate occasions so far, and he actually remembered me! The very first time I met him, I was wearing my “BARACK AND ROLL” teeshirt. By the time I got my second and third chances, it didn’t fit anymore. But when he noticed me, he looked right and me and said “Barack and Roll, right?” And then I nearly fainted.
He came to Beloit College to speak, and I shook his hand! It was AMAZING. He’s going to be an excellent President.
Well, I didn’t get to meet him but he held a rally in Grand Rapids Michigan and I went. I took my husband & son (both die-hard republicans) with me. We got a double dose – John Edwards opened the rally. I know I probably will never get the opportunity for a face to face with Barack Obama but being in the VanAndel Arena and listening to him speak was fantastic.
I’ve been a die hard Clinton supporter for years, but this guy has my attention. I’ve just bought his audiobook and am daring to hope he is our up-and-coming beacon of light – hope he doesn’t disappoint. I’d like to meet him for more than a brief handshake, and see what kind of gut feel I get for the guy. I tend to think I’d walk away better for it.

I’m from his stomping ground of Illinois….but I went to a rally in Beloit, WI just to meet him. There I not only got up close and was able to shake his hand, I was also in a featured picture of him by the Associated Press (as seen above, I’m wearing the white coat and smiling right at the camera). One of the happiest moments of my life…although now I want to have a personal one-on-one with him….a brief meeting is just not enough for me now.
