I have no idea how to do this, but I’d love to try. I’ll update when I at least have an idea of basic stuff I need, and update again when I begin.
If anyone has any useful tips or pointers in the meantime they’re more than welcome :)

I want to do this for a couple reasons:
-To say that I’ve done it (and to learn more.)
-After seeing other people’s home built machines, they far out do any Dell or Gateway that you buy and can be made by you for cheaper, so why not?

I’m marking this as done because she’s up and running, but I will continue tweaking, so this will really be ongoing.

Years ago in 2003 I began building a computer inside of an old school NES case. Now I was not the first, I’d found this project on another website (the content is hosted at the above addy).
This was a joy! The computer was a fairly simple, uncomplicated 1ghz machine, and definitely not a gaming rig. I made it for the joy of having music play from a nintendo, the joy of having a portable desktop, and the simple pleasure of creating something of simple beauty and function, rather than a beast of aluminum and a number of powerful cooling fans.
I guess what I’s like to say is Build YOUR computer, whatever that is :)
