I need to be able to speak French over the phone more fluently. Though I’m pretty good at reading and writing, I’m always fucking it up on the phone trying to make up more elaborate sentences – like you do it when writing. So in the end I’d be far better off if I’d just speak in simple sentences instead of thinking about more complex – and possibly better – ones.

I took french in High shcool and have lost the ability to speak efficiently. I need to speak french to keep my job and want to improve the quality of my speech. I would also like to widen my vocabulary.
sabrina is feeling pretty psyched.
I keep meeting French-speaking individuals, which desperately makes me want to continue my language studies. Maybe if I can get one of them to only speak to me in French, it’ll come back to me. Or else just be very annoying…
one friday a month, I go to sydney with a friend for dance practice. on the way home, we practice our french, listening to CDs in his car.

When I go to Sydney, to attend medieval dance practices with our local dancemaster, we listen to french tapes on the way home and practice nos conversation. His skills are quickly out-stripping mine! But I am remembering, and learning.
i’ve already learned the basics but having no one to converse with (in french) i’ve no way of knowing if my accent is ok, or did i use the right word…
