Eat fried ice cream

My and my roommate when to Wendy’s the other and she told me to try ice cream and fries…uuhhh…not the best thing in the world…but I least can say that I try them….

I seem to remember having some at Schlitterbahn in TX, which was wrapped in a thin sheet of dough(?), then dropped in hot oil for a short time.
Later, at renfest, I had what they called fried icecream, but it was an ice cream bar on a stick, rolled in little crunchy bits (like grape nuts?).
The first one was a much better experience, and I’m still looking for some more of that one. Anyone know where I can find it?
