I will be traveling to the Boston area in mid October for a few days. going with a girl friend of mine. It should be really fun and a great time to get away.
I’m going to Prauge, Italy and Milan next spring break on a school trip. Excited!
.. next year :) any recommendations? thanks in advance! Gotta start saving >.<
Got back from Sweden yesterday! It was really good, Stockholm is gorgeous and the weather is much similar to England, so I felt at home! Went up to a youth hostel in Ludvika for a few days for a party, went canoeing on a lake – yay! Stayed in Grand Hotel, above =)
Mike back to work. :(
I had great trip to Maine this summer. I visited Camden, Bar Harbor (including Arcadia National Park) and Portland.
Next trip will be to wine country in New York in October.
I’m looking forward to that since I’ve never been there.
Worth doing!
I went to India and China this summer and it was life changing in ways that I could never had imagined. Its made me open my eyes to different ways of life and experience things outside of my safety net. I never understood the true importance of traveling and seeing the world. I had always been in one space. Now there’s just so much out there that I want to be a part of in whatever way. Its somewhat challenging to be back home because my routines are going to be somewhat the same but I feel so changed. It was a struggle for me to save up the money for the trip but ultimately it was worth it, expensive though it turned out being. When I was debating whether to go or not my friend said—see it as an investment in yourself and that you are worth it. And that is my advise to anyone else thinking about doing something like this. You will grow by pushing yourself and being open to life.

Worth doing!
I saw quite a bit of Canada, as much as I want to in the general sense. Driving was an amazing way of getting a feel for the whole country. I think I will make more specific travel goals and list this as completed and worth doing.

“Who has done gap year volunteering abroad projects? What did you do and where did you go? What company/organisation did you go through and how helpful were they? Just want some general advice and pointing in the right direction on it.”
