I’ve been riding now for over 20 years and I don’t think I will ever stop. A motorcycle is the best way to see your own community and the country. Because you have to be focused on your riding and those around you, everything else is forgotten and you are “in the moment”. For me this is the best way to unwind and relax.

How I did it: I signed up for the MSF class and failed it the first day. Bummed, I thought about giving up and attributing that to destiny. Maybe I was just not meant to ride. Maybe I might've gotten hurt. Almost defeated, I decided just to plunk down the money and buy a bike to practice on even if that meant dropping the bike. I've made steady progress and have had my bike for almost a month now. It is so scary, exhilarating, and full of freedom all a… Read how I did it…
How I did it: I took the 2.5-day training course from the Calgary Safety Council. I wasn't aware but once I did some research, there are training programs all over the place. It was way easier than I imagine having a friend teach you. They taught all the good habits and their test was tougher to pass than the actual licensing test. Read how I did it…

How I did it: I took an MSF certified course at my local community college. From there, it was all the wonderful instructors teaching me. I went from never even seeing a motorcycle up close before to being comfortable riding at a reasonable speed, being able to stop quickly, and make sharp turns. Read how I did it…

Player must learn how to ride a motorcycle and preferably obtain a motorcycle license from their current state DMV. Completing a one weekend class at a community college is sufficient.

I don’t have the time or resources to do this anytime in the near future and it’s not like I am going to forget how much I want to learn how to ride one. I remember every time I see one!
The extra space on my list is far more valuable right now as I seem to be moved and inspired to go in new directions every day. I could use a few more whimsical desires up here – the ones that sound beautiful and grand but then fade away after a few days leaving nary a trace in my memory.

If you want to learn to ride a motorcycle, I recommend buying “Proficient Motorcycling” at your local bookstore or download the Learn to Ride a Motorcycle ebook online.
Unfortunately I had to sell my Ninja 250 :( :( :( but I neeeeed to ride. It’s interesting but I’ve been loaned a 1-cylinder Honda CBR125… yes, you read that ride, a 125 cc bike. What can I say, it’s slooooow, but sooooo light and sooooo fun to corner. I don’t even think it’s legal to ride in the States, but oh well, I won’t tell if you won’t~~~ ^.~

I have already mastered riding a bicycle. Next is a scooter. If that works out well. I’m buying myself a motorcycle.
